Vacuum sealer bags from Tilia are too expensive! This is a much better alternative. So far, I have no complaints. The box comes with a bag cutter that you attach to a seam on the long side of the box where it opens so you can pull out the bag roll. Have been using this product for 4 weeks so far.

Love everything about this. I just love the fact that I can make whatever size bag I want. I cook for only my husband and I, but buy only family sized packages. I seal all my meat and soups. I have had only great results. I have taken to making my bags a couple of inches longer than I need. This enables me to use each bag at least 2-3 times (the bag does get shorter and shorter each time however). I recommend this to everyone.

I love these bags. The size is perfect for so many things, and I love having prepared bags on hand. As others have mentioned, they are thicker than FoodSaver bags, and it makes a big difference when you seal something that has somewhat sharper edges (like soup bones). Better quality than FS bags *and* cheaper -- what more can you possibly want?

And just like that, my sealer is fixed! I've had it a long time, so I don't remember what it was like when it was new, but I'm pretty sure this tape made it "like new" again.
