If your foodsaver has quit working, vacuums but won't switch to seal automatically. This is the answer!!! Have had my foodsaver for about 7 years now and it began to lose vacuum and would not switch to seal on its on. Was ready to buy a new one when I saw this product. Very easy to install and my 7 year old foodsaver works like its brand new again.

Picked up a used food vacuum sealing machine at a thrift store for $10 which did not remove the air and then seal. Replaced the the old gaskets with these and it was as good as new.
