I love this jacket, and yes, there is a "but." Let me start by saying it is warm and unobtrusive. As someone who is always cold, even in the house, this is like a holy grail of warmth. I received it as a gift from my loving partner, who probably got tired of hearing me talk about how cold I am. The fit is good, although I prefer something a bit more tailored. Today, however, I am sending it back for the second time. That is the fly in the ointment and the reason for the three-star review.

Both of the jackets I received have the exact same issue. The waist cinch cord was not properly secured to the jacket. On the first jacket, the cord slid out of the hem as soon as I tested the cinch mechanism. The exact same thing happened with the second when I tried to snug it up a bit after about 20 total minutes of wear.

Hoping that the cinch cord issue is a problem caused by whomever was responsible for affixing the cord in the first two jackets, we decided to switch to a different color in hopes that the third time will be the charm and it is just a fluke with one person. It sucks that the change of color incurred a $10 "handling" fee, but I just want a jacket that does all the things Paka says it is supposed to do.

Other than the cinch cord issue, I have no problems with the jacket. Mind you, I have only had the opportunity to wear it for a total of about 30 minutes, but I am optimistic.

I was gifted two pairs of Paka socks from my wife over the holidays. These are the most comfortable socks I can remember wearing in my 78 years of life thus far. So I ordered a trio of them for her! I noticed that they are reasonably priced, comparable to good woolen socks which are not as comfy.

The women’s hoodie is nice and soft but it not as warm as I expected and has more plastic content than I typically wear. I have converted most of my clothing to as close to 100% natural fiber as possible.

These socks are comfortable, stay up really well, and don't stink. I wear them for at least two days before tossing them in the laundry basket. I have found them to be durable, and I am looking forward to wearing them for many years.

This is my second purchase from Paka. I have the hooded unisex sweater. Both I have ordered XS, which both fit appropriately but are 1 to 2 sizes smaller than my usual size in other brands. I do plan on getting one more of the crew style sweater as it has become a favorite of mine. I have been wearing it nearly daily.
