I live in a state that gets VERY cold during the winter w many days below zero temps and windchills far below that, so have been disappointed by many “super warm” but lightweight coats. This one lives up to its promises. In fact I’ve actually been hot in it even in the cold! I wore it out to shovel yesterday and everything that wasn’t covered by the jacket was frozen despite multiple layers. Promptly came back in and ordered the longer version! My only gripe with it is the zipper sticks. I don’t love coats that only have a zipper to close but the performance is so good I can get past that. The weight is baffling light and the color is lovely. If they’d make pants out of and a puffy balaclava I wouldn’t hate the winter so much!

PAKA did it for me again, a terrific parka to meet bitter cold and blizzard conditions that popped up fast! I had a bit of a journey landing on the right size for this parka, I originally ordered the Medium and while it fit okay, I felt I wanted some more freedom of movement to do things like shoveling or even skiing. Customer service was great in handling the exchange and express shipping. Now that we've had cold and snow, it has performed well, keeping toasty warm but with the ventilation I could release steam built up from shoveling. Another great product, can't wait to see what comes next from PAKA and into the rotation!
