My paka long sleeved shirt is the warmest layering shirt I've ever owned! I strictly winter camp and I defy anyone who can tell me of another shirt that even comes close to this one. Plus it's so soft it's incredible. I also ordered the long johns and the puffer jacket which has not yet arrived. Do yourself a favor and spend the money. Good gear should last a lifetime if you take care of it properly. I also own 6 pairs of alpaka gloves and said good by to cold fingers. Sincerely, Rat.

This jacket is very light to carry and wear. It keeps me warm. The only improvement it needs is the zipper. For this price range, the zipper on the jacket feels very cheap. I only wear it for a week and the zipper fails to zip a few times already.

I needed to replace my winter jacket and went with Paka as my wife has a jacket and loves it. I really like the color and the first thing I noticed is how light the jacket is. It's a little bigger than the jacket I'm replacing but it feels lighter. Also has stayed very warm, and the pockets are way deeper than you expect them to be. I put a water bottle in one of the pockets and it almost fit the entire thing. So far so good with all of it! I got an XL so it wouldn't be tight on me when I was wearing other layers, and I think it's perfect for what I wanted.

I have used Merino for years. I tried Paka and it quickly became my favorite... It is softer and lighter than wool and keeps it's shape a lot better too. I believe it to be warmer by weight as well. Wet, still warm. Paka is the best for every outdoor activity from hiking to swimming and everything in between. Who doesn't like a quick clean up in a lake on a hike? Those river crossings or heavy rain ect. The socks are a staple and you will quickly find out why. The hoodies are the best!
