I just hiked for 3 days along Hadrian’s Wall in northern England, built by Romans in 122 A.D. Temps were 50-65F, with wind, rain and sun. I started each dewy morning with a short-sleeved PAKA Essential Tee and a long-sleeved PAKA Aire. Light-weight, soft, and super comfy, together they took the bite out of the cool morning air. As I headed up hills, they breathed well and kept me cool despite rising temperatures. When the sun came out, I took off the long sleeved shirt and coiled it around my neck to protect against sunburn. Having it around my neck didn’t make me feel hotter and did a great job as sun protection. My Tee never felt sweaty. When it got wet from a brief rain shower, I put the Aire long sleeve over it and soon both were dry. Great system, great products— thank you to the extended PAKA family and thank you alpacas!

The Cusco
I love my Cusco! I wear it almost an unhealthy amount year round. It's perfect at regulating temperatures and super cute. Only complaint would be it has started pilling a lot after a year and a half. I always wash on the delicates cycle with very cold water and gentle detergent and air dry and only when it's starting to smell (which takes at least a couple wears) It does see a lot of wear though so maybe it's just well loved, but something to comment on.

As for the smell, it can sometimes happen when the fabric holds moisture. We recommend giving it a good wash and letting it fully air dry overnight—this usually does the trick.
