Love the sweater and the fit. However, all these sweaters run long. My husband says I can wear it as a very short dress. The other sweaters I purchased are the same. I like it anyway.

I love the sweater! I love it so much that I bought two more. However like an idiot I did not read the sizing instructions and ordered my usual size - which is far too big. Rather than return it (mistake #2) I decided to shrink it. I have now washed it three times in consecutive hotter water and dryer heat. There are lots of reports of shrinkage in the reviews, but my sweater did not read them. Despite my best efforts, it is the same size. Better too big than too small. I still love the sweater though.

I used to wear this almost every weekend until I went to a bonfire and had to wash it because it was covered with a smoke smell. I washed it on cold and laid flat to dry but it shrank from a M to S. I’m not sure how you’re supposed to launder this…

My wife turned me on to Paka around 3 years ago. Sadly, I have a wool sensitivity so my Paka love was limited to covering my wife’s amazing shirts and sweaters. That is until I discovered Paka’s wool socks and my ability to tolerate wool on my feet!
These socks are ridiculously comfortable! There are no pesky seams. They don’t smell whiffy when I wear them longer than I probably should. *nervously coughs* I feel like my feet are being cradled in puffy clouds wherever I go!

I love everything about this jacket except one thing: I was surprised to discover that it absorbs and holds onto environmental odors worse than any other clothing item I own. I wore it into a pizza restaurant for less than an hour and after a week of airing it out, the jacket still reeks terribly of the restaurant.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback! We’re sorry to hear about the issue with odors lingering on your jacket. Alpaca fiber is naturally breathable and antimicrobial, but it can sometimes absorb strong smells from its environment.
For the best care, we recommend hand washing your jacket. If you prefer, washing it inside out on a delicate, cold cycle and laying it flat to dry works well too. For odors, try airing it out in a well-ventilated space or outdoors (avoiding direct sunlight).

I loved this hoodie, but after the 3rd wash (i washed it VERY little because of this issue), it's literally no longer usable. It has shrunk from a M down to at least a XS if not smaller. My wife's hoodie is perfectly fine though, with the same care of washing on delicate, cold water and laying flat to dry on our drying rack.
(Update): Paka reached out and offered to replace the hoodie immediately. I have changed the review stars to reflect this, because i believe this company’s mission and their products are truly quality and worth it.
