Great layering piece. Much better everyday weight for me living in CA than the original. Very soft and cozy. It runs big though — I normally wear women’s XS/S and the XXS in this is more than roomy, even a bit baggy. It’s so cozy though that I’ll keep it even though it’s not perfectly tailored. Would be great though if Paka could adjust the unisex sizing to be more inclusive of petite women.

My only regret was that by adding my age to the size chart, it suggested I get a medium. I took 20 years off my age and they said now I should get a small… which I did, only to find it still a bit too roomy. I am a small, older woman who is fit and apparently doesn’t fit my age group… Be careful when adding that kind of information in sizing.. I guess it has it’s place but this time it wasn’t a good fit.. I should have listened to my intuition and ordered the xsmall, But… I have plenty more I want to purchase so this won’t effect my future desire to get more Paka’s

Highly disappointing: Fit.
They're just too sloppy when it counts. They fit the foot nicely, but try getting a tighter-fitting unlined leather boot on without wanting to toss these into the campfire. I'm betting a medium would be better for me, but that's not what the sizing guide suggests, and large Paka crews are skin-tight on me.

I originally bought my Paka lightweight crew for a trip to Helsinki and a side trip to Lapland. It was the perfect choice … lightweight for layering, soft, and warm! I paired it with a merino wool underlayer and a cotton short sleeved tshirt. There is no question I will be adding to my collection of Paka gear! My only issue is that the sweater sleeves are very long for me … I have shorter arms, but the sweater still deserves a 5 star review over all … I just roll the cuffs!
