Thank you for asking! As a brand, we are consistently moving towards more ethical and environmentally practices in all that we do. Much of our efforts as a company are devoted to fabric development. Our intention isn’t to make the product cheaper; the synthetics are included to help the garment hold up better and provide structure. The blend ensures durability and keeps the fit consistent over time. We strive to find new ways to utilize natural fibers that can stand up to synthetic material in durability (no small feat). Our Breathe line was a huge breakthrough for us as a fabric innovator. For the first time, we were able to create a functional fitness blend that's made solely of natural materials. We are still developing in other realms. Socks, for example, present a huge challenge as it's hard to achieve the elastic that people expect in performance socks without using nylon. While we haven't found a way to eliminate nylon completely from our socks (yet!) we are incorporating natural materials and reducing the overall amount of synthetic fiber in our pieces.
