I recently discovered alpaca gear and ordered from the different major brands. I was severely disappointed anthem all except for Papa! I love the new hoodie I received and have been wearing it a lot. I took it to Zion National Park on its first hike and loved it. My only suggestion is to redesign the hood so that it also covers the forehead. This would provide a bit more coverage and also make it feel a bit more secure. Otherwise, it is lovely. I will be taking it next week to to Half Dome. The socks I ordered were on the smaller side for men. I am 9.5 US and I think they are to small as the heel isn’t in the right place. I need to go one size up. But design and construction was great. That is where the other brands really failed. Their products were not semetrical (one sleeve longer than the other, hood offset, etc.), the sewing seams seemed poor, the products cuts and designs were seriously lacking. Not so for Paka. This is where I will get my alpaca gear, period.

Just as soft and comfortable as I'd hoped. Good to pack and use for in-between warm and cool weather. Paca sweaters do run large, though. The questions I answered to get my size gave me a size medium, but I know from experience that is way too big. The XS fit perfectly.
