The material of this shirt feels substantial, but I had difficulty getting it over my head. The neck opening is too small. Otherwise, the fit is fine. I returned the shirt for this reason, also because I did not like the eucalyptus color. Not at all how it appears online.

The socks themselves are nothing short of a masterpiece. The material is soft and plush and has a certain richness that synthetic or even regular wool socks can't match. This quality alone makes the product worth every penny.
An unbelievable level of comfort greeted me upon wearing the socks. The plush softness of alpaca wool was like a warm hug for my feet. They provided a degree of warmth that was just right - not too hot, as is often the case with woolen socks. Surprisingly, they also offer excellent breathability; my feet felt cozy but not overly sweaty or hot, even after hours of wearing them.

But in the meantime, I went to Salida, CO with my husband & some of his high school pals. Even though it was June, the weather was cold & rainy. We had booked a raft trip on the Arkansas River, so I wore this base layer under another couple of waterproof layers. I also wore the gray Sebastian socks under webbed water shoes. I was very warm until we all got wet, so I took off the base layer & socks & put them on the deck at our condo to dry. I was still cold, so I was able to jump into the jogger hoodie & pants, which were perfect for warming up!
After the baselayer & socks were dry, I was able to use them again the next day.
I love the quality feel, the light weight, the odor resistant feature. I feel as if I'm dressed in quality that feels good, looks good, & is contributing to the Peruvian economy & a sustainable planet.

I have now found my favorite base layer! Alpaca is the most comfortable base layer I have used. Getting rid of the others and adding more Alpaca to the rotation. I was skeptical at first and the care takes work to not ruin them but well worth the money. I will be adding to my collection, shirts, sweaters, socks and even the underwear.
