Loved this color and style so much I bought a second so I’d have a spare. It’s much softer than the original crews. Seems to be about halfway between the Lightweight Crew and the original crewnecks for warmth. Definitely not as warm or thick as the original crew but the fit and style would easily allow layering in super cold conditions. This style would also layer better under a more close fit down jacket. It’s just perfect.

All my clothes are XL, so I ordered 3 XL t-shirts. They're pretty tight, and the cut on the shoulder is very tight. I should have ordered XXL I guess; it's just that all my other Paka stuff is XL. That said, great material, etc.

I am pleased with the shirts overall. First wear on a hot day reveals they are indeed breathable, dry quickly and do seem to help keep you cool (thermoregulation of the alpaca fiber appears real to me). They also are soft to the touch but also feel durable. The fit worked out well for me which was really satisfying since I have relatively wide shoulders/chest and shorter torso (size L, 5’11” 185lb). Usually I have to buy XL which tends to be too long. I will likely buy a few more and would recommend to anyone seeking natural fiber shirts.
