This is an excellent base or mid-layer hoodie. I have worn this hoodie on several backpacking trips and day hikes. It has held up well under a 22ish pound backpack. On one trip I slept in it and kept it on for the next day of backpacking. It didn't stink at the of the day. I don't wash after every use and I haven't had an odor problem. It regulates body temperature well. It is relatively light weight. It is my fall/winter go to hoodie. If I was going to change anything about this product, I would redesign the hood to make it stay on my head better when I am hiking into gusty winds.

When I saw an ad for PAKA’s alpaca wool sweater on Instagram, I was instantly intrigued. I have had a long alpaca winter coat for 25 years that still looks like new, and I always loved its softness and warmth and wished I could find more clothing made from alpaca wool. Both the sweaters I purchased are amazing as far as appearance and craftsmanship,, and I called them “forever sweaters” because I know I will be wearing them for the rest of my life. They fit beautifully, are warm but breathable, and of course are wonderfully soft. I will definitely be buying more, because you can’t have too many of these sweaters!
