I saw a lot of hype around alpaca socks, and presumed they were just another passing fad - something unusual that was trying to find its way into a niche market. However, with a big southwest US trip coming, I was looking for hiking socks that would keep the feet dry and comfortable during a round-trip hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back.
Picked up a pack of Paka socks, and really haven’t used anything else since. Not only for the shakedown cruises up the local mountains here in Colorado, but for daily wear. They are genuinely the most comfortable socks I have owned, and are Well crafted and designed.

I've been a Paka fan since receiving my first pair of socks. Tough. soft. Non stinky, even in the toughest conditions. I recently purchased the hoodie and took it with us on our circumnavigation of Lake Superior and was not disappointed. The softness is so comforting and the warmth is amazing. The hood was a great protector against the hordes of mayflies and midges, and my husband said I looked adorable to boot. Here I am at our campsite by French Lake in Quetico, Ontario and combatting mayflies in the UP but wore it throughout ... am still am. Love Love Love it!

Took this out to the mountains, with weather lower that 30 degrees and was plenty warm. Felt a chilling breeze but my body was never cold. Slept in my 15 degree bag and was warm but never sweat like with my previous thermals. This piece of clothing is perfect for all temperatures and honestly might be the best item in my wardrobe.

I never thought that there would be a sweater that could get me through a Maine spring like this! I'm not the easiest person to fit when it comes to clothing....I'm a little short and I have a chest. But when I saw Paka advertised on Instagram I read through their page and did a little research and decided to try one. I LOVE IT! In the past few weeks we have had a run of weather and temperatures.
