The bags were mostly as expected. However, was disappointed to see that the gas valve is on the same side as the resealable zipper. I consider the "front" to be the same side as the zipper, where I would like to apply a large label. But a large label would cover the valve.
EDIT: Was contacted by customer service and informed that valve placement can be customized, but cannot be returned if so.

I am still having issues with the one-way valves. We had several bad batches and now even when we get a "good" batch, we are discarding one out of every 15 or 20 bags because they don't vacuum hard.

Hi Tammy, I am sorry shipping seemed slow. We did ship out right away but I can see that because we were out of stock in the TN facility that we shipped from our California facility. This would add a couple of extra days. Typically you would be notified prior and I am sorry if you were not. We looked into the remaining stock in our warehouse and the boxes do not appear to be beaten up in any way. It seems like they may have experienced an unusual amount of rough handling during transit. If you would like to discuss returning them for a better case, please contact our returns department. we are happy to work with you and UPS. Thank you for bringing both concerns to our attention. We will be mindful of ensuring up-front communication when changes are made.
