So far so good. Primarily welding aluminum at the moment, and looking forward to using it for chromoly tube work. The controls take a bit to learn, but the unit seems more user friendly on the low end than my Syncrowave. Nice that it is so much quieter and fits under the weld bench too. I'm glad the CK torch was included, as I was looking into a flex head anyway and I really like this torch. Good deal for the price and the way it was boxed/packed was impressive.

Very happy with the welder so far the price was good before I bought it I called customer service with some questions and they were very helpful in making my decision to buy it has the a new foot pedal that is better. I took a Tig class 10 years ago and haven’t welded for years so a little rusty.

Impressed with the machine. I have welded stainless aluminum and mild steel in all different applications. No hiccups or problems. I did a bit of research before buying and only really found that the foot pedal was funky. The foot pedal with mine is just like name brand foodpedal not like the pictures. Pulse works very well and there are alot of adjustments to control the weld however your style. My only complaint is the power switch on the rear and I can't just hit the breaker or it won't shut down right. I have not used stick weld function nor will I probably ever have a need to.

I'm not the best person to write a review on this welder as it's the first welder I've ever owned nor have I ever tried tig welding before. I bought it as it says it will weld aluminum and it does. The box seemed pretty beat up when it arrived but the inner clamshell encasing the welder was intact. Still one of the front feet was broken which must have happened before packaging. Not worried about it as they front feet had to come off anyway for it to fit into a trolly I bought to hold it and the argon tank. The instructions it came with are excellent. I plugged everything together and ya, it works. Some reviews complained it was loud, me, not so much. The fans make some noise, but I wouldn't call them noisy. Some reviews complain about the pedal, I think it's been upgraded or at least changed. It doesn't look like the on reviewed on YouTube. Again I have nothing to compare it to but it works and has been undated. So, I like it, it works on aluminum, it was inexpensive considering all its features. Now it's up to me to learn how to use it.

Initial set up and start up was easy. Only issue I have with the machine is the face plate markings. I feel like I’m guessing on my hertz and frequency settings. Over all the machine welds good. I have an Everlast 250 Ex also. The Prime Weld machine welds just as good if not better in some instances. Especially on A/C welding aluminum. It’s a good machine for the cost.

i love the new pedal it feels very rugged and not cheap. i haven't tried the machine yet but im pretty sure it'll be ok. if not it has a 3 year warranty. ;)

Been tig welding since the late '50s, & needed some "toys" to replace my well equipped shop I recently sold...this little welder was purchased with reservations (along with their mig 180), but both have performed flawlessly - can't believe for the price they can achieve this level of excellency. Thumbs up, mate!
