Replacement Refrigerator Water Filter.
Removed the filter from the original manufactures packaging and was concerned because the shape and size were slightly narrower and slightly longer than the original filter.
Anybody that's shopped for replacement water filters (1000's of names, models, serial numbers and there are not $ cheap) knows it either fits and works or it doesn't.
since I purchased on-line, I really had a good opportunity to be pissed-off. Closed my eyes, held my breath, slipped the filter in position, heard a reassuring click of engagement, hit the dispenser button, presto, filtered water. And I saved $12 over the big box stores.
