We got to test the teepee out in the Deerlodge NF during an elk hunt in Novembwr. We see up on a ridge so we could wake up, crawl out and glass. The wind howled all night. After a few adjustments we were able to get the tent sturdy and it held up great.

Stove Jack for tents
This year I made the decision to try a small wood stove with my 5 person teepee. I purchased a Kni-Co Trekker stove and chose the Seek Outside stove jack. The stove jack was pretty easy to sew in and worked perfectly. I spent 7 days in the Oregon Coast Range with tons of rain and the combo was great for getting my gear dry. I used propane heat before and that causes more condensation. Great product at a great price

After a long day of kayaking on Lake Superior along the Pictured Rocks lakeshore, the BT2 was a perfect shelter for the night for my wife and I. We were dead tired, and it couldn't have been easier or faster to spread it out, put in a few stakes, raise the pole and tighten it up with the other stakes. Within minutes we were done and ready to eat dinner before crashing. Even though we didn't use a nest either, because of the sod skirt we had no issues throughout the night with the substantial mosquitos and flies in Northern Michigan in July. Just a great shelter, especially if you're a move as much as you can type and only set up for sleep. Extremely small pack size makes it easy to take too on adventures....nice back up plan when roadtripping.

My son and I spent 3 days and two nights breaking in the 4 man TeePee before winter camping season starts, We paddled our canoes in so we had lots of gear .We had three dogs along and the oldest dog really liked soaking in the warmth from the stove. With the teepee door open we could sit inside out of the wind next to a warm stove and enjoy the lake view. We had plenty of room, cooked our meals on the wood stove. I cannot say enough how well everything worked. Light weight, compact. teepee pitches straight forward, stove goes to together quickly and easily. Quality is first rate

So far I have taken the silvertip on three backpacking trips. Great durable shelter for one guy, gear, and plenty off wood for a couple nights. Material seems very durable and product is well thought out. The new guys out are really nice and add a decent amount of extra interior space. Overall good hard to beat one man shelter for the price.
