So easy to use and lightweight! Can’t wait to take it for a spin this spring

This tent system is well worth the investment. The outside sheds moisture well, the liners keep moisture from dripping down inside, the stove keeps the inside at t shirt temps, setup/take down is easy even for one person in high winds, the light weight materials are able to withstand high winds and wet heavy snow. What more could you ask for from a great American made product? This is my first winter with the tent and I've been using it for an ice fishing camp. I use to think winter camping was only possible with a heavy canvas tent and barrel stove but this light weight system allows me to hand pull everything on a sled out to my favorite fishing spot! The sxl stove has paired well with the redcliff and maybe a tad overkill in my opinion. However, I've been able to keep the stove giving off some heat all night long with prestologs and closing off the intake. So the larger stove is worth the weight in that respect. I can't wait to use this tent over the spring summer and fall in the high county and I look forward to picking up a full nest if they become available this spring. The only thing I would like to be able to add to this system for winter use would be an additional liner piece to connect the two half liners at the back wall (I got the one door option). I noticed that some moisture froze to the inside unlined portion over night and when the wind hit it it started snowing inside until I fired the stove back up. Regardless, this is an excellent product and I know I'll get tons of use out of it in all of Nevada's unpredictable seasons. Thanks Seek Outside for making badass gear!

Just the parts need to make sure I always had all the parts and pieces for my stove on hand.

We purchased the 6 Person Tipi - Stove combo to extend our tent camping season into the winter months with our 3 kids. We’ve spent 2 nights in it so far in below freezing temperatures and weren’t disappointed. Being able to dry out gear and thaw yourself out at the end of the day is a game changer. Our kids are pretty happy they get to make hot chocolate on the stove top!
The tent is a breeze to set up as well as the stove. We have the SXL stove and it warms the 6 person Tipi up nicely. Quality and craftsmanship of the tent is top notch!

Love the cub. Don’t need much wood to stay warm all night. After you figure out how to use the air flow/damper it’s a beast for its size.

Even the Blemished Gear is higher quality than most other manufacturers!! Just received a Blemished Colorado Tarp, only issue was a few needle hole not perfectly aligned with the seam. Used the provided seam sealer and now you'll never know it wasn't perfect!!

I set it up in the backyard when it arrived. It is well built and very lightweight. Looking forward to trying on a trip.

I spent a pre-season scouting trip using the LBO. Temperatures dipped below freezing and we got lightly snowed on. The LBO plus stove kept me and my buddy plenty warm. We slept the two of us plus all our gear minus our bear can. Awesome product, and I can't wait to go chase some mulies or elk with it in the back counrty!

I've used the Seek Outside Peregrine pack 3 times in the last month and it performs flawlessly. By far the lightest and most comfortable pack that I've used, and I've used multiple packs my MR, Osprey, and Kifaru. My 10+ year pack search is finally over!

So far i am extremely pleased with my tipi. It wasn't even out of the box for 30 min before i had it set up stove built and fire going. Such a quick and easy setup. I was able to then take it out the next day and set it up on a frozen lake with 80kmh(50mph) wind gusts and it held up no problem. The seek outside team was fantastic in answering all emails I had sent before purchasing in a very timely fashion as well as getting my tent and stove in the mail in the timeline I was told from the day I ordered. I look forward to my first overnight trip in it and all the adventures it will accompany my family and I on for many years to come.

To be honest I was skeptical of Seek Outside hot tents when I first saw an Outside article about them. I had a hard time rationalizing why I should buy a camping shelter that cost so much. Over a few months of reading more about hot tenting I became convinced that a Cimarron would be an incredible shelter to own for winter ski trips, hunting trips and shoulder season camping trips. We picked up a 2 door with half liner and large u-turn stove in March. We quickly sold off our trusted Mountain hardware Trango 2 that we used for winter camping. Running the tent with stove in spring, fall and winter has really changed our experience for the better making camping something that is enjoyable instead of something that you kinda just suffer through once the sun goes down. Even in bad weather being in the Cimarron is pleasant for 2 and I have no doubt it will withstand a beating in the worst weather. The material and craftsmanship is top notch and surpasses what I have experienced from other tent makers. The attention to detail and features of this shelter are incredibly well thought out and make it a fantastic shelter for 2.

What I didn't expect when we purchased the tent was for us to like the shelter so much that it would replace our summer tents too with the versatility of the different options you can run inside. This fall we sold off our roof top tent that we use on overlanding/ car camping type trips and will be buying a full nest to run the cimmarron instead. Paired with the right double mattress I thinks its a superior shelter in every season. Sets up really quick, weather worthy, spacious, doesn't stay on your car all summer and our dog can join us more easily. Had I thought about it as such a versatile piece of equipment instead of just a hot tent for fall, spring and winter trips I would have gone for the 1 door version with screen or the lighter Dyneema version and had no reservations about selling off my backpacking tent too and running it as a 1 tent quiver. With the Cimmarron we have now with a half nest its only ~10 ounces more than our backpacking tent (Tarp Tent Stratospire 2) and would increase our useable floor space significantly. This tent has really changed the way I look at camping shelters and what I should expect out of them. I expect many more shelters from Seek Outside as our needs change in the future.

I got to put my half liner through its first real shakedown. For two days we had a mix of rain and snow on the coast of Lake Huron at the end of December. Overall the liner makes a huge difference in managing condensation in such conditions and is a great addition in winter/ wet conditions. Even with the sides completely soaked in condensation the liner kept us dry when we brushed against the shelter walls. There are some small changes I plan on making to improve its functionality. I purchased a blemished liner so these might not be needed in a normal liner. Even without these the liner is really fantastic.

#1 adding a small toggle to the middle seam to attach to the inner middle side tie out. You can stake out the cimarron to increase the height on the sides without doors. We sleep on the opposite side of the stove and having this tieout deployed makes it very comfortable when you run the shelter without the liner. Right now the liner doesn't have a way to attach so even though there is more space the liner sits further in than it could.

#2 Making the upper cords longer and the lower cords shorter. Running the liner now with supplied cordage we have a pretty big gap at the bottom and our air mattress got wet at the sides. The stove does a pretty good job of eliminating condensation on the upper part of the shelter so getting the liner lower is more important in my mind. Might take out some of the slack in the liner fabric as well.

#3 The linelocs are a great addition to the liner but I find it redundant to have them on the cone and upper liner. I'm going to cut mine out of the cone and just keep the fabric loops. Might save a bit a of weight without decreasing any of the function or adjust ability.

Another of Seeks great products here! I never felt like the cimmeron was ever in danger of coming down and was pitched to perfect levels of tightness with this pole being the backbone of the shelter! Thank you Seek yet again!
