Ordered via web site on a Friday morning with an indicated two working-day delivery. Phoned the following Tuesday to learn that delivery was scheduled for Thursday. Not ideal. Quality of finish and MDT not as good as other skirting suppliers.

Priming was not done to a good finish, couple of chips on board but as we needed to cut board we worked around them. Delivery driver left our delivery at the wrong house although we were in awaiting for him.

I'm happy with the skirting boards and customer service from Skirting World (5 stars). I've only given 4 stars because of the delivery service (a generous 3 stars). The boards were supposed to be delivered on Friday. Friday lunchtime the courier phoned me to ask if I would be in on Saturday to receive my delivery. No explanation or apology given for the inconvenience. She said it would be delivered before 2pm on Saturday. Then I got a text to say before 5.30pm. Then an e-mail saying before 6pm. When it arrived (about 1pm) the delivery man initially tried to give us doors. When we said that we wanted skirting board he repeatedly told me I would not be able to get 4.2m skirting boards up the stairs to my 3rd floor flat (which I did). I would use Skirting World again, but not while they're using DX as their courier.
