I don’t just buy ammo, I take it out to test it to see if it does what it is supposed to do. Many recovered “hollow points” do not change shape or dimensions. They might as well be full metal jackets, but you still pay the inflated price. (Especially In .380s). The STEINEL hollow points produced a perfect star shaped mushroom, even in .380😲🤗. I will reorder. Looking forward to a 9mm Largo hollowpoint. The FMJ is awesome

Awesome ammo. Thanks to Steinel my antique defender of French liberty lives again. I received a FN1935 French pistol 5 years ago. Unfortunately due to it being chambered in the proprietary caliber of "32 long French" it was relegated to no more than a novel wall hanger. Enter Steinem; and the only source for reliable ammunition for my little frog. The ammo performs flawlessly, not a single miss fire or miss feed in the box. As far as I know, the special 45-70 rounds I purchased for my 19th century Springfield carbine and rifle will be excellent. Steinel’s service was prompt, the price quite reasonable for a specialty item, and advice on my choice of purchase made sense.

Purchased a second hand Shiloh Sharps 45-70 with 30” octagonal barrels. Having never shot a 45-79 I was a little nervous about the recoil. Well, with a limb saver on the stock and using Steinel cartridges I had nothing to be concerned about! The Steinel cartridges load easily and are very accurate. I will definitely buy more!!
