I'm just a guy who likes to play guitar. I needed new strings on my Gibson J50 and had seen ads for Stringjoy and decided to give them a try. I'm not a pro but I think these are the best strings I've ever used. They make my old J50 sound great.

I have been truly impressed with stringjoy. When I first started using them I was getting a few months out of a set of strings. Then I began playing out more and actually had a g string break at the bridge. In forty years I never had one break at the bridge. I also noticed that after two weeks the strings became dull sounding so I have started changing strings every two weeks and that solved the problem.It was not because of the strings. It was because of the environment. Playing in extreme heat outside every weekend the strings were greatly effected. Doing mostly acoustic sets I am using the Bright 10's on my J200 and The 11's on my 1987 Martin Custom. They sound better than any other strings on in the market. I also use them on my twelve string. All my electric guitars and have had to start ordering on a monthly basis. I want to be sure I always have a set on hand for two reasons.1 in case I need to change strings and 2nd so I can pass a set on to other players to try. I tell everyone about string joy strings. When I put them on my old Martin it brought out a sound that I would have missed had I not used the string joy strings. I was thinking of selling it but it is now part of my rotation at my gigs. The custom string sizing makes Stringjoy my go to for strings now. They are worth it in my opinion.

String quality is really great but what I found most appealing was the flexibility of mixing gauges and string types. I can really tell you are players and have put a lot of thought into innovating the process of buying strings by taking out the pain points.
