These faux tortoise shell flat picks from Stringjoy are great! I must say though, these days I play mostly with just my fingers and thumb, or with my fingers and wearing a thumb pick. It depends on the musical piece and that’s why when I need some speed, or when I’m ready to lay into a chunky guitar riff, I reach for one of these bad boys. I carry a dozen of them with me everywhere I go.

I really enjoyed these strings. The top string is the same size I normally use, but a couple of the others don't fit my normal size. This felt "weird" to begin with but they felt fine. The strings stretched out fine, didn't take hours or days to start holding tune. They were very smooth and playable and have great tone. I'll definitely be getting more for some of my other instruments!

Bluegrass if you like it this set of strings gives and holds the pure tones, try them I believe you’ll be hook like I was when I was introduced 2 years ago. Really like the auto reorder system as well its easy, fast and efficient, I don’t worry about having strings when it is time to change them!!

Easy on my fingers and I really like the tone Quailty, I got them just to try, the medium has the tones I really like for bluegrass on my D28. The life of your strings is great they hold their tones and stay in tune better than any other string I’ve tried, and I’ve tried all of them. I really like the auto reorder system as well. I would have to say without a doubt that my Stringjoy guitar strings are the best strings I have ever used and I have been buying guitar strings for not just years, but for decades.
Stringjoy’s later focus on to detail and quality puts them way ahead of the pack in my opinion. I was totally blown away too when I saw that each individual set of 6 string-set, was hermetically sealed and protected from “the weather elements” to prevent any chance of corrosion or oxidisation damaging them. Nope, no climate change around these strings! Stringjoy strings are packaged into their own “unchanging “micro-climate” and it just doesn’t get any better than that guys.

I like your strings but I don't like your price.

Love the 9.5's. They still have the feel of an extra light set, but add a little bass. Especially good for single coil fender style guitars that sound a bit light with regular 9s

The conditioner is great. It extends the life of non-coated strings significantly, and makes playing much more pleasant. This is superior to previous, aerosolized string conditioners I’ve used, in that it smells better, lasts longer, and doesn’t get everywhere when applying it.

Stringjoy strings seem to simply have more metal to them. They are durable, sound great, and are always very fresh - no corrosion at all, because they we’re likely made last week!
I have a dozen guitars I keep in fresh strings. Over the last couple years I find I’ve used Stringjoy 3/4 of the time, and I miss them when I try others.

I sometimes get this funny feeling that Stringjoy strings are maybe a little too good. What I mean is after playing guitar for probably more years than the age of most of the people who make these strings, I’ve gotten in the habit of changing strings before each show and/or session. One night before a show, I thought I should change the strings. Took out one of my guitars and strummed it, and thought, “Why?” They sounded nearly as good as when I’d put them on - bright, crisp, full, fresh (the sound I prefer). So I decided to see how long I could play the guitar with before I felt I “had” to change them. Four weeks later (for me that was about 8-10 shows and twice as many rehearsals, I finally felt I had to change them….not because they actually needed it, but more because bad habits are hard to break, especially when it comes to playing guitar, and specifically how often most working guitar players feel they need to change strings. These strings are just that good.

The last brand of strings I will ever use. They're at home on all my guitars, and tonally they're as important a link in the chain as anything else. Brilliant!

Strings sounded great on my Epiphone Masterbilt acoustic guitar. I did buy a set of Extra Lights only because my old fingers have trouble pressing down on the frets. I also bought a set of the .73 picks. I had mostly been using similar .73 rhino picks from Dunlop. I like the Stringjoy picks better. They just feel better in my hands. I'm a basic rhythm guitar strummer in church, and both the strings and picks work well for me.

Love the strings, they sound great! I also love the personal touches like the band written thank you cards with every order, you just can't go wrong with Stringjoy.

I’ve tried tons of string brands in my 30+ years of playing and always found that I loved one aspect of a brand but not another (i.e., good tone but rough feel, etc…). Stringjoys are the first strings I’ve ever tried that I can honestly say I love everything about. The feel and tone are amazing but they’ve also got other nuances down, like tension and consistency across sets. I can’t say enough good things about them. Add excellent customer service (above and beyond) to the mix and you’ve got everything you want from a string company. I’m not going anywhere. These are my strings from now on

Great!!! I had recently bought a new guitar and the strings that came on it sounded flat. So, I put the strings that I’ve used on another guitar with similar scale length, different tone woods and then it went real bad, tinny. I was talking to another player and he was talking about how user friendly this new string company was, Stringboy, Stringtoy, what every. After, doing a search I found them and email them, not expecting a hole lot. I’m just another guy trying to get a better sound and I didn’t have the time money or patience to go though all the different strings to find something that I liked. They responded to my email, gave me a recommendation, they showed up in the mailbox, changed the strings, BAM, done. It sounds great! I have 4 other guitars, 🍻.
