Stringjoy Brights | Light Gauge (12-54) 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings
Hi,
I purchased a set of your Stringjoy Brights 80/20 Bronze (12/54) to try out on my Taylor 324. When I bought the guitar new in 2013 it had Elixir 80/20 Bronze (12/53) on it, which I like. I have tried some other strings, but none sounded very good on this guitar, and with some of the sets of strings there were some noticeable "off tones" on the G and B strings. When I put the Stringjoy Brights on this guitar they sounded great from the start. Nice and balanced with plenty of volume, but still offering the warm sound I like in this guitar.
Although I play 5 or 6 days a week, some strings I have tried can make my finger tips feel like they'll start to bleed. These strings were easy to play from the beginning. They have been on my guitar for a month and a half now and have mellowed some, but still sound great. I like them and would recommend them to anyone. Plus, the folks at Stringjoy are helpful in every way and offer a personal touch in their business that is pretty rare these days. Thanks
