I had just purchased an Alvarez Yairi guitar and was looking for the best strings for this amazing instrument, I tried the Martin Lifespans, the Elixer Nanoweb 80/20 Custom Lights and StringJoy Brights Super Light Gauge 80/20 Bronze, I didn't like the Martins at all and found that the Stringjoys were the better sounding and longest lasting strings of any I have tried. I liked the light gauge set a lot on my Martin D-18. They had a nice depth of tone and had, for lack of a better word, character. I’ve used Martin and Santa Cruz strings and your strings compared favorably to them. I have other acoustic guitars and will try String Joy strings on them too. They are good for flat picking and fingerpicking. I also put a set on my Gibson J-45 and they sound great.
