I find these to be the perfect string for Fenders. I've been using the 10.5 balanced set for a few years now and there's no going back to "regular" strings. A little bit beefier sound like 11s with the spongy feel of 10s. Plus they last a really long time. I probably keep mine on too long because they don't dull like other strings.

I was breaking strings like crazy. Everyday 28 days like clockwork. Always during whole tone bends, nothing radical. I checked my setup, nut, bridge and fret ends. No problems. I searched "Breaking Strings" and found Stringjoy's video. It was helpful and convinced me to buy their string conditioner. I use it everyday and haven't broken a string since. I ran a test and didn't change my strings for 6 months (average playing 18 hours/week). After month 6 the back of the strings were pretty flat, but the rest of the strings still looked good and sounded fine. I could have left them on if I wanted, but principal and desiring new string tone prompted me to change them. Initially, it took a week or so for my fingers to get used to the conditioner, but I haven't thought about that in months. Some people rave about the smell. I don't know about that. It doesn't smell like chemicals, but it's not like I feel the desire to use it as an air freshener. A bottle goes a long way and lasts a long time. I can't foresee any reason to stop using this product.

I believe I can tell a difference between the Stringjoy and my previous strings. I’m a real novice with playing the guitar although I have four of them, all acoustic, a Breedlove, Gibson, Taylor, as well as a Classical. The first three have Stringjoys. Great strings, great service. They feel like regular 12s, just better quality and still sound and feel great after 3 weeks. String cleaner is GREAT too, just ordered some more strings and another bottle of cleaner for the studio.
