One of the first sets of guitar-strings I've ever owned where the description of their tonality actually matches the real thing.

What a great tone and the increase in volume is amazing. I put the first set on a Blueridge acoustic. What a difference. I've used Elixir 20/80 bronze .012--.053 for several years. You blue them out of the water. Thanks for such a great product.

Perfect gauge spread and balance for my ageing hands. there are a couple of other makers out there offering similar gauges but they all come in 10,13,15,26,32,38, supposedly inspired by Hendrix's choice. That fine but for me the .010 and .013 ‘e’ and ‘b’ and the .026 ‘d’ are a bit heavy and the .038 ‘E’ a bit floppy. I know I know, I’m being picky.
Anyway along comes Scott like a maiden’s prayer with this Broadway set. Pure nickel, round core - what’s not to like? I don’t know what formula Scott’s hit on but he’s nailed it. Balanced tension across the board. I’ve tried all the other offerings in this gauge range and there’s a marked difference in feel to them all. For me the tension on the Broadways is just right and there’s a nice tactile quality to them that my fingers like
Sound wise they’re excellent. They’ve got a clear, almost piano-like tonality when played clean, but they really sing when cranked. I know I’ve mentioned to Scott before that I’d like a .012 ‘b’ instead of the .011, but I think maybe I’ve come round.
All in all, for feel and sound, and for my musical tastes these are the best strings I’ve tried. They’ll cover any genre with ease, are easy on the hands, and they sound great. Can’t recommend highly enough.

I have used some mediums in the past, but usually use “ lights” - I used them for a week but had to take’em off - they were just too stiff - my mistake to order the mediums

Good experience. Would have went with slightly different gauges for a couple of the strings. Trying to do Robert Fripps New Standard tuning for 7 string (F,C,G,D,A,E,G)
The gaugues I picked for the lower register were to heavy on some strings and not heavy enough on others. This is really a mistake on my end I selected the gauges after all. But yeah It worked as far as holding tune just the playability wasn't quite there cause I picked the wrong gauges. Great quality strings as always, probably going to tweak this order next go around a little, but can't really complain.

The strings I bought are working good. Had some difficulty at first getting the complete order but that was taken care of. If the order was shipped complete the first time around I would have given a five star rating.

I loved these new Broadway strings. Great mellow tone for a vintage sound. Sounds great on my semi hollow for jazz and blues. Planning to get another set soon for my partscaster.

The Bottom .85 string broke while tuning. Strings sound nice and shipping was fast!

My guitar has never sounded better. I love the feel and playability.
