Strings 1&2 have more xylophone tone which sounds very good. Less harsh but still don’t last longer than three weeks before getting close to flat and sounding like rain on a tin roof.

Tried the 9.5-46’s on my PRS 25”neck and on LP 24.75 neck. Liked them a lot but felt I could use the 10-48 set on other 24.75 necks, which seem to be about right for my mostly blues bending. For now will stay with the 10’s other than trying the 9.5’s on my Strat. Good job with your product and appreciate your personal touch.

Coming from a 6 string strat, I just got an 8 string multiscale LTD. So far I only use Elixir strings due to my acidic hands and humid conditions, uncoated strings simply won't last more than a couple of weeks despite constant care. Unfortunately the 8 string Elixir set is too light on the 6th to 8th . Finding suitable gauge for each string is very limited and expensive in my country.
I thought to give Stringjoy a try since it comes recommended. The 9 string custom allow me to experiment with different gauges at a reasonable cost. At first I was concern about my hands ruining the non-coated strings, but after a month, they still hold up pretty well and sound great. I would definitely continue using Stringjoy and highly recommend them...at least give them a try!

I love Stringjoy Signatures...great strings, great price, great selection...and found Broadways to be marginally better in terms of tonality and "in-tuneness." I had anticipated a greater degree of "warmth," however, given their marketing description. On balance, it's an excellent string--if for no other reason than because it's a Stringjoy product and follows Stringjoy standards; however, my hunch is that it can be better still. I don't really care if it costs me $20 a set...make these suckers kill!
I'm a Stringjoy fan for life...but if I'm being honest, I think there's work yet to be done.
