Crisp and clean sound. They still are fresh after a couple of weeks. Hold their tuning and did so from the first day. Good strings. Looking forward to see how long they last.

An absolutely lovely string. Not to be overly enthusiastic so to be fair I must start with Full Disclosure. These are actually the 3rd Round Core pure nickle wrapped strings I've used in the past 24 months, the others being the DR Pure Blues 12-52 and the C.F. Martin Titanium Core .012-.055. I use them on a 1964 Gibson B-25 electrified via an DeArmond Tone Boss pickup. I play this guitar primarily as an acoustic instrument with the kiss of electricity for use in a Glam Folk (Think TRex/V.U./Doors) band and the occasional foray into old hillbilly (Gid Tanner/ Jimmie Rogers/Elton Britt) and Jug Band Music. I am a finger style guitarist so there is a certain intimate aspect to my approach to the guitar. Forgive the long introduction but details matter.
The Broadways work wonderfully in terms of exciting the top of this 55 year old guitar bringing out more of a "woody" response as opposed to Hex Core pure nickle wounds of the equivalent gauges (e.g. Curt Mangan) and certainly more volume than the DR or the C.F. Martin. The finger feel is quite comfortable and the low end has a nice bloom that is defined but warm. The danger of course is that round core basses can become quite "thuddy" in short order if not wound correctly (see Dean Markley Round Core Strings ca. Mid 1990's). Of course one has to take care with mounting round core strings but once in place they respond well, in some ways almost like a classical guitar string with more of a percussive aspect.
I will probably try these on a larger bodied instrument, possibly an early 1960's Harmony Sovereign or perhaps a Gibson J-45 while looking for that "big rhythm guitar" sound of the mid-20th century.
In the final analysis these strings have surpassed my expectations. If there were any recommendations I'd make it would be:
1)to offer a .013-.056 set
2) Perhaps offer the round core option with a 80/20 or Phosphor Bronze Wrap.

Good quality strings.I needed strings long enough to fit on my 29" stringthru 7 string. I tried about three other different company's strings and the low string was never long enough.It either didn't reach at all or the taper was to short. Was super happy when I got stringjoys set. I would buy again.

Like all String Joy strings, these stretch quickly & hold tune very well. These have a bit more of a mellow tone to them & are excellent for every genre of music.

I put the 11-48’s on my Gibson 335, they work nicely for me, just a little bit more tension is what I was looking for. There were 10’s on there before but they felt too loose. The Broadways sound nice, I would get another set or two.

I have a National Tricone Resonator guitar. I wanted to order a custom set of strings for it but had questions. The crew at Stringjoy worked with me on choices. I ordered a custom set and installed them. Their are great. They have a new living term customer. If you have questions just ask therm.

Would like the option to customize set; Price is pretty high as well. Overall, I was satisfied with the strings, but would probably not purchase again due to price, lack of customization.

Great feel, great tone!

This is the best feeling with the less tension and a golden tone from the past. I’ve switched over all my electric guitars to the Broadway string.

My Gretchen needed new strings. I have Stringjoys on my acoustic and love them. So I gave the new Broadways a try... wow! What a difference! My Broadways have a super rich sound and stay in tune longer. Excellent choice in strings. Try them, you will be happy you did.

I’ve tried them on 50’s reissue Telecaster. I find the feel a little softer than your regular set, but I haven’t reached a conclusion if I like them better. I have another set of strings I’m going to put on my ES-335. Love your strings. Paul

Something seemed off on the low E

So far so good. I’ll be really testing them out tonight at a live show. I customized my set with a plain E on the low e side (first from the top). I like the even sound better as opposed to a wound E. Tone matches the other bass strings. The best strings on the market!

These strings have such an amazing, silky feel to them and sound great even after a few sets (I don’t play gently). I currently have them on my seven string in drop A and they’re exactly what I was looking for!
