These strings are gorgeous. I’ve put them on my tele, strat and two Les Pauls, and they’ve made all of them better. The ballends are such that they work perfectly for top-wrapping a Les Paul too. Perfect!

Love these ones. I use 9.5-46 on my PRS, and would like to try these on her. The 10-46 set is really nice on my Telecaster. I'm expecting my Rickenbacker 360-12 any day, so, a 12 string set would be very cool. I am the ambassador of Stringjoy amongst my fellow veteran players, and I do not recommend anything else to my Veteran students. All eight of my guitars wear Stringjoys. There's a reason for that.

I made a calculated a custom set or my 8 string that make for a 14±0.5 lbs/ft for each string and it has been unreal. I had worries about the timbre and feel of the bottom strings but it plays incredible, they’re less fatiguing for selective picking and tech parts in general. These are the ONLY strings I am buying from now on. I love that you guys have created stable and easy means of buying custom gauges and I only wish I had started checked this out sooner.

Bought these as an experiment for one particular guitar. Having used nothing but GHS Boomers .009s on my electrics since the early 80s, I'm not exactly looking to rock the boat. ;-)
First impressions:
They *feel* great. Truly. I was and remain very impressed with the feel of these strings. They're comfortable and slick -- I can't really articulate it any better than that. They really are quite remarkable in that respect.
The *sound*, though... well, I will stipulate that I am probably in the minority in that I prefer clean, clear, bright strings. These sound...not particularly bright. Not dead, but...warm. Like the difference between 80/20s and Phosphor Bronze on acoustics.
In summary, I don't *dislike* them, and they certainly seem well made, and I'm impressed with the personal, affable nature of the company's correspondence.
I'll probably continue to use them on this one axe to see if they can win me over. And who knows -- the sound my grow on me. ;-)

The first set of String Joy’s lasted me 9 months. I gig several nights a week. I typically change strings once a month and play so hard that strings don’t last that long anyway. Not String Joy. The strings are very good strings. The high strings E B G seem have a little more ring to them. I can’t justify the cost difference between your string and D'Addario. I can buy 3 sets of D'Addario for the price of 1 set of your strings. If you ever get the price more competitive I would buy more of your strings. Dave
