I just put them on two days ago they felt very smooth and seemed to be really punchy and bright.. I will play my first gig with them tomorrow night.. but from all indications they will work fine.. Wonderful strings, great resonance and sustain from them. The String conditioner is also a fantastic product, keeps the strings clean and sounding brand new. Does not damage the fret board at all. I accidentally broke the .038 (A) String when putting them on the first time. Stringjoy sent a replacement right away even though it was really my fault. Personal service, hand signed notes....great company to work with and I feel really good that they are USA made in the great state of TN.

These strings are awesome! When I came across a video about them on YouTube I had to check them out. I ordered a couple sets of the custom 10.5-56 and 11-56. After playing both sets on two different Strats I settled on the 10.5-56’s. I play Texas Blues Rock. Very much in the riff and rhythm and string attack picking styles of SRV, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Henry from Los Lonely Boys and Jesse Davey. I find that for longer playing and action set higher than most would consider normal, this set works perfect for me. I have yet to bust a string. The tone, sustain and life of the strings are second to none. I’ll be a Stringjoy customer for as long as they or I’m around.
