Had Labella Flatwounds on my Squier Bass VI and after breaking the high E my only options were to either pay for an expensive new set of Labellas, buy the Fender set with the flabby low E string or find a more reasonable long-term solution. I believe I have found the latter with Stringjoy. Have had the strings on for 2 weeks now and i m very pleased with the sound and the quality - and the price is right. Not to mention the outstanding attention to the customer. Give them a try ;) Only criticism/future suggestion - would have loved (and i guess many others too) to have the option for a VI set with a thicker low E as well
