These are easily my favorite electric guitar strings. I absolutely love the heavier lows. All six sound great and stay in tune on my SG.
ALSO -- Stringjoy's acoustic strings are wonderful. They take a few weeks to break-in and mellow, but they're 5-Star as well. I love this brand!

Put this set on my baritone and they feel great ! The tension is great, the only tweak I would make is maybe a set with 10.5, 13.5 and 17.5 on the high end just to make the strings a little more playable with longer neck lengths

I installed the Extra Light 10-50 on my early 70's Yamaha Red Label FG-110. I am the original owner. This guitar has been through hell; many years without a case, just a laundry bag. I haven't played it much the last few years, but saw the Stringjoy Extra Lights and thought it might pair well with the 110. Man, after a slight neck adjustment and installing the Ex Lights, the 110 plays like a dream, which I didn't expect at all, and it sounds great! Great action, no buzz, and clean tones across the range. It's a perfect match! Thanks Stringjoy, for breathing new life into this old and under-appreciated guitar!

I mounted these strings on a strat-type guitar, tuned to standard D. To me, this is a perfect string gauge for this tuning. I always felt like 11s had a little too much slack, while 12s could be at times a little hard to play (I'm a blues-rock player, so I like the big bends and vibratos). This gauge gives me just the right amount of tension. The raw output of the guitar is round and well-balanced. If you like to play around with gauges and tunings to find the perfect balance, you won't be disappointed.

The sound is nice, however, at no fault of the strings (I guess) I bought two sets and broke both high E strings while tuning the guitar up after restringing. Broke the first one, then opened the other pack, which was to be put on another guitar, and broke that high E string also. So I'm using them with a medium high E string from a set of martins. Not ideal but its working. I've restrung my guitars probably 100+ times in 30 years and have only broken 1 E string in my life, so I know what I'm doing. Admittedly though, I am not used to LIGHT strings so I guess I need to be more delicate in my tuning. I'll pick up a pack (less expensive one's) at GC of lights and "practice" with those, Ha! Maybe someday I will try them again because what is on my guitar does sound good!
