Honestly they have held up very well! Usually I will go through strings pretty fast but I haven't taken the first set off since I got it. My only complaint is that they haven't held quite the same attack as when you first string it up, but that would be groundbreaking since all strings lose that brand new feel after a few good sessions.

The quality is a step above what you find at a music store. The strings last pretty long- long enough to make the cost a non issue. The strings feel...cooperative when I’m strumming the tension feels nice and stable but when I bend the string feels like it wants to bend. It’s the strangest thing but they are easier to play. I use the 10.5-68 for a 7 string tuned to Ab. This set seems just right for that. The tuning is very stable. I’m hooked. I also appreciate the vast options for 7 strings and the option of a custom set. I’m very happy.

I’ve been having issues breaking elixer G strings on my Ovation celebrity. Heavey palm player. Couldn’t make it through a gig without breaking one. Since making an adjustment to the saddle and switching to String Joys, I don’t break G strings anymore. They also stay in tune like nothing else I’ve used.
