I had a wonderful experience ordering from Stringjoy! I was recording my first album recently and my producer was pointing out that based on my playstyle and the lower tuning I use I should look into heavier gauge strings and especially that I should have a wound 3rd.. After some searching and many attempts to find the right set of strings in stores and through online retailers I came across Stringjoy and was very pleasantly surprised! Having a company dedicated to providing custom sets of strings and being able to mix and match the individual types and gauges is amazing. All at a very affordable price too. Great strings overall. A couple things: the winds at the ball end had some sharp edges that could be problematic, and maybe doing the red cloth cover for the ball ends would be a nice touch/resolve the sharp wind isssue. I’ll be ordering again when these ones wear out.
