The excellent customer service aside, my pack of strings from string joy has lasted nearly a month of consistent gigging now. I've yet to use the 2nd pack. The strings still feel fresh, play nice and smooth, and sound just as good as when I strung them up! I will be purchasing my extended range strings from string joy henceforth! I really love the sound of them. I have a Little Martin LXM which they made sound like a much more expensive guitar than it will ever dream of being. I just put a set on my 00-17se today. They sound much better than the Martin strings that had been on it. I really like the Martin FX lights because of the flexibility and theyāre a lot easier on my fingers than these. I donāt know if you can make a set with a flexible core which sounds like these. But, if you did Iād buy them. Well, Iāll likely buy your strings anyway because I like the way they sound and they are made in Tennessee.

I first put your warm strings on my Taylor 814ce limited. I have tried many strings and the mostly sounded the same until I tried your strings. I couldnāt believe the difference, my guitar came alive. I then tried your bright strings just as good,if not better. Better sustain, volume and tone, over all the best strings I ever used. Now I canāt figure out which of your strings is better. I also put the warm strings on my Taylor GS Mini, made it sound like a much better guitar. Canāt wait to try the bright strings on the mini. I am hooked.

Overall, very happy with the brass strings. They sound like a bell, perfect!
Two small suggestions for your consideration.
A ready-made 0.014 gauge package would be great. This would be really useful for short-scale guitars.
It's tough to cherry-pick a 0.014 gauge set, to get the strings have a similar feel.
- a wound G-string of 0.028 is too taut, it will snap when tuning up aggressively. The next lowest gauge in your wound offering, 0.025, feels a little too floppy in relation to the other strings. An in between wound option there would be great!
- a low E of 0.056, which is the highest available, is OK, but it sits a little loose compared to the other strings when bumping up from a 0.013 set.

There isnāt a lot of choices for 9 string guitars as a complete set. I know because Iāve tried as many as I can find. These are hands down the best playing and sounding strings Iāve found for 9 string guitar.

I have a American made Ovation 6 string guitar and I bought a lot of different brands of string in the past.. I bought the string joy super light 11-52 gauge strings. They sound nice and warm. I tuned twice and now they stay in tuned. They cost a little more than what I normally pay, but the fact that their made in USA , makes a big difference to me. I like the sound of them. I think I found a brand of strings that I will stick to. Thank You

Great strings! the sound is very balanced and clear even with a lot of distortion.
0.64 was a little short tho, unwinds right at the tuning peg and may not fit my other 28.5" scale guitar (not a problem i was using the strings on a 27")
