These are great strings, plain and simple. I've used a lot of brands, and generally have been happy with them. However, I don't plan on buying any others moving forward. The balanced strings just feel right. Additionally, I am also now playing with a wound 3rd on my Strats and Teles and I will also not be going back to a plain steel string. The sound is more balanced, and again, just feels "right". Stringjoy makes it really easy to get what you need when it comes to mixing your sets for the perfect feel and tonal balance.

I purchased a set of Custom 11s for my Tele which came with 9s. I also got a wound G string and I have to say I love them. I need to probably widen the slot in the nut but it's not causing any tuning problems so for now............

First thing I noticed was the feel, much more consistent feel across the strings, second was the tone of the strings, just had a better fuller sound to them. Then, I'm almost never satisfied with the tuning between my D, G, and B strings. I'm always fooling around with them trying to get the pitches so that "to my ears" they don't clash. If the chords sound good the individual notes sound off and vice versa. Not anymore, first time I tuned them I was so satisfied with them. I've had them on now for a couple of months and not once have I had to fool with it.

Fender, if you're listening you may want to start putting these on all of your guitars. Finally got it sounding like I expected. I have the Parallel Universe tele.

Have a set for my Taylor acoustic that I'll be putting on soon.
OH! I almost forgot. I have a squire tele that I put a set of Nashville Tuning strings on and it's given new life to a good but under played guitar.

Very nice sound. Especially the D and G strings.

I ordered the brass for my Taylor 315CE and they sound very nice. They're not joking when they say these are better balanced strings. I had my doubts about noticing any difference in balance, but it's there! Nice even sound across every string and every fret! I will be buying more!

I love my new strings!! They make my 12 string guitar come alive!! The only thing that could have been better was to have somebody do the re-string for me! I always end up feeling like a pin cushion from poking myself with the strings!! Lol 😆

Great strings and i love that I get to pick custom gauges. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a baritone or bass Vi set

Service was prompt and good. I like the fact that the strings are custom as to size. I experience string noise that is not as good as coated strings. I may have to go back to coated. Thanks Joe

Aloha string joy, so far I’m very happy with your strings. I’ve only got 2 gigs on each guitar. I’m just waiting to see if they last as long as elixirs do

I’d seen the ads enough on Facebook to know I wanted to give them a try. Love Elixers so I wasn’t convinced I could do better. From a tonal quality and playability perspective, these are better. I particularly am interested to see how they hold up over multiple tuning changes — I ordered a custom set so I wouldn’t repeatedly break the G when tuning up to an A. Still need to finish that test. Also wanting to see how they compare in the studio. Weather canceled this week’s session, so I’ll report back on that too. So far so amazing. Very pleased. FYI, also just picked up a Tonewood Amp and these strings sound particularly great when paired with that!
