Steely deliciousness. Responsive, predictable, and oh so fun to play. If you put them on right, after they stretch out you have to tune them ONCE.....and that's it.
I would probably go with the 10's next time only because my fingers ain't what they used to be.

Ordering was simple. I picked up a set of 5-string bass E-to-C medium-ish gauge.
Separate from my order I asked a couple of technical questions. The response was quick, knowledgeable, and personal. Great service.
The strings are exceptional out of the package. Nice full tone -- not harsh, not muddy, good feel under the fingers, and very nice articulation.
Even better is that after a couple months of gigging I'm still digging their sound. I'm going to switch all my basses over and enjoy the convenience of their subscription service.

I really appreciate the ability to order custom gauge sets. So far these strings sound very warm and rich. Normally I play RotoSound Swing Bass strings but they lack the ability to custom order.
I regret not hiding a long term evaluation of this set. I play multiple basses ship have barely broken these in do far.
