The strings sound good. I was surprised how "thin" the .45 G string was. It feels and sounds more like a .40! I've been using GHS Bass Boomers for 30+ and pay $33 for 2-sets (Musicians Friend or Sweetwater). I will not make another Stringjoy purchase at your current $30/set price. Good Luck! BC

I can comfortably say I found my signature Stringjoy set of strings. They feel balanced and sturdy, but light at the same time! I had never heard of 9.5 gauge strings and since I had trouble with 10s and know for a fact 9s were to light, the 9.5 was the answer.

I love your strings. They feel great ( I've heard people say strings feel smooth and silky but these really do.) The one thing,though, I would change is the B string. I believe the tension curve with the .013 is to much. I bought some .012 from you to replace it and to me it felt more even. Maybe you could sell a set with that option.

I had tried a couple of sets of the Custom Lights first. and I loved them. But I have several guitars with different characteristics, so I tried a few sets of Super Lights; I am so glad I did! On some guitars, the Super Lights will lend even more bendability while maintaining the E-E balance. A little more experimentation is in order, of course... lol!
