First experience wirth stringjoy was when I bought a Novo guitar. I was suprised as to how long they lasted and how great they felt. My previous big box strings were always dulling fast, and even out of the box coming with black spots.

I expected these strings to be excellent, based on descriptions of others. But the Signature sets I bought REALLY exceeded my expectations.
My first experiment was .012 sets, for my jazz archtop. They were a considerable improvement over what I was using previously. VERY musical-sounding, with more bell-like harmonics and truer intonation than I was used to.
My 2nd experiment was .010 sets for solidbody Fender style guitars. Same bell-like qualities, with a lot of vibrant, punchy brightness from bass strings, and rich warmth from unwound trebles.
If that’s what you’re looking for in electric guitar strings, then I suspect you’ll love these like I do!

Both styles of strings - electric and acoustic seem to be brighter and have better sustain than anything else I have used for over 40 years. It's a huge plus to be able to choose my custom sets by my personal gauge preference as well. Anyone not sure if they are top of the line just needs to try them. Great product great service.

I really enjoy the strings the custom strings have really been a massive improvement for neck tension for drop tuning and each string having a similar tension. One problem is I didn't order the pair I should have. I ordered them with a similar tension in drop tuning to a regular set in standard tuning. I should have made the string have higher tension though. Anyways still great set of strings. But I am going to have to re order a new set to get the correct tension.

I run the Signature Husky extra light on my SG and the Broadways Heavy Bottom Super Light on my junior. These strings are worth every penny and more. They rarely go out of tune, whether fresh out of the box or after a couple months of use. Going from an indoor rehearsal to an outdoor gig? Still in tune. Amazing. And they sound fresh for so much longer than other brands. I’m more of a “weekly” player than a “daily” player, so I don’t change strings as often as some people, and my strings sound fresh and stay in tune for months. Wonderful strings, excellent service, and Scott is the coolest string nerd on the planet.
