The strings sound great and the guage is exceedingly friendly to the fingertips… One small issue though, on my 1963 Martin D-18 there seems to be a slight buzz from the bridge on the G string. Not sure what’s causing it… Could the string possibly be defective?

Full fat low strings with nice highs. Ringing high strings which feel smooth. They can stand some serious pounding and keep their tone. The low strings feel tighter then I'm used to, which is a good thing! Bit expensive, but they DO last longer and you DO want to play more. I bought two sets of acoustic strings and the string cleaner an cloth. Decided to try the string cleaner and it worked so well I haven’t changed the strings. I’ll give you a review on what I think of the strings in a week or two. Your cleaner may not be good for your string business.

there's nothing wrong with your strings...they play just fine...I do not feel or hear twice the price of traditional strings though...I can buy 2 sets of diadario's or slinky's for the same price and I don't have to wait for shipping...I hope y'all have tremendous success with your strings...I just don't experience the difference...

The verdict is in. I put the Stringjoy strings on my guitar this evening. Now, to date I've never found a set of guitar strings that rivals the tone and playability of my favorite strings, Elixers. When I strung my Larrivee in the back of my mind I was thinking that really there's nothing that can make my guitar sound any better.
Until now.
I tuned it up, and slowly strummed a Gmaj chord....
Even frequency response all the way up the board.
Clear and robust bass; nicely rounded mids; sparkling highs; it was all there. Projection was better, with super tone. Reasonably priced too. The Stringjoys win. I have a new favorite.

While they might be a little more expensive than what I normally play, they're definitely worth the price. Being able to customize packs of strings to MY play style without having to buy 2-3 packs of strings is enough on its own, but these are actually great to play. Unless I've got some kind of show to play or want to seriously record something, I only have to change strings every 3-5 months. Awesome strings.
