Love these strings. Responsive with great tone and resonance. Too early to tell about how long lasting but I am definitely buying more.

Very fast pick with a sharp attack and good release. I'm heavy handed and these are holding up very well. Really good tone and low noise. I'm sold on them.

There's no real string gauge standard for six string basses in the bass VI configuration. The biggest difference between sets are usually the low E, which is offered from .085 all the way to .110. I decided to build a bass VI styled instrument, and I based my measurements and settings on Stringjoy's set (24-90). I chose them because of the overall string length working well with a 30.0" scale neck, and the guitar-sized ball-ends (some brands use bass-string ball-ends, which affect how well it works with a tune-o-matic bridge, for example). They're also roundwound, while a lot of 'classic' bass VI sets are flat.

I do find the set very well balanced. Strummed chords across the neck don't feel like jumping across very thick and very thin strings. The tone is bright and sounds very bass-like, even in the upper registers. Single note runs on the B and high-E strings sound very jazzy. They react well to pick and harmonics playing. They are about a medium tension, which makes them easy to work with and avoids the floppy low E that sometimes comes in bass VI sets.

Overall, very pleased, and given that not many options are out there for roundwound bass VI sets, they jump to the top of the short list you should consider.

The strings look and feel great. They sound really good. So much so that I may try the extra light.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I don't know how long they'll last as yet.

Had strings that came with the bass, my first bass, and were a few years old but I never got around to changing them. I found Stringjoy and purchased these strings and I'm in heaven. After they were broken in, I get nothing but beautiful sound quality and long, rich sustain on every note I play. I will definitely be buying my next set of strings from Stringjoy.

I thought they were good, but I use D'Addario Coated Phosphor Bronze, and they seem to last longer and keep the feel I like longer. I tried one of each of yours (.12's) I'm not sold, maybe i've gotten used to coated strings and I like them.

They sound great on my Washburn. Keep tuned pretty well also.

I've been using another brand of strings for over 5 years wasn't really happy just settled for them then I took a chance on a 7 string custom set and I've found my new string company there high quality and after stretching there holding tune they're on there 6th week of heavy use there a all round good string and as for stringjoy Scott contacted me to see how they were working out and I told him that they thing is I wish I ordered a 56 instead of 54 low E and he sent me one right out. It didn't matter that I'm just a "bedroom" guitarist Scott went above and beyond and for that I'll be a lifelong Stringjoy customer

Being able to change the string guages on standard sets is super helpful, they sound great, play great, and stay in tune. The only issue I had was on my part, I put a .090 on instead of the .070 and the string wouldn't fit through the tuning head, but clipping the string then pulling off some of the winding made it fit. These strings are the best I've ever used, and I hope to get more in the future!

LOVE these strings! Can’t recommend these things enough. The balanced 9.5 set has a feel like no other and the clarity and overall tone of the strings last far longer than any other brand I’ve tried. Looking forward to putting stringjoy on all my guitars.

Never used string cleaner before, but sure will from now on. Just bought my second order for a second home (and guitars). Yes, it works!

Strings came in quick. I use these for my Agile multiscale 7 string. The high B string snapped when stretched it after installing, but I had a second set of strings nearby that I borrowed from. It could be that my guitar is a multiscale and the string gauge was too thin for the scale length, but these strings normally last for months without wearing out, so I think it was a fluke. Overall, these strings are very dependable and sound better than standard Slinkies.
