Really nice strings. I didn't want to have a problem with the 3rd string getting "stratitis" (interaction with the pickup causing warbeling) so I replaced the .017 with a .016 like the one removed. They sound great. The guitar is a Penco Les Paul "lawsuit" guitar, so nice to play.

I’ve pretty much used the same brand of strings forever D’Addario XL O9s decent strings for the price but I was changing them out about every three weeks. I practice about two hours almost everyday. I recently came across an ad for Stringjoy on FB and decided to give them a try. I ordered two sets of balanced 09s. What can I say I’ve been playing the same set for over a month now and they still sound fresh. They are strung up on my PRS Custom 24 10 top. I’ve been playing over forty years and play in a three piece hard rock blues combo. Would highly recommend these strings and I will be back for more. Im in Georgia which is very humid and still no discoloration ............

I ordered customized sets because I wanted somewhat heavier strings as I tune my guitar down 2 steps. I also prefer a wrapped string for the high string on the 5th course instead of a plain one. I love these strings. They sounded great with no break-in period where they "sounded new". I have a 6 string that I have very specific needs for specific string gauges. String Joy allowed me to build a set to my exact specs at no more cost than one of the standard sets they offer. They also were behind in production when I ordered 2 sets. They sent me one set as soon as they could (In fact, two days earlier than they said they would) and sent the other set once production caught back up. I cannot recommend this company and their product any higher!

I spent about 2 hours shopping around online for the right combination of string sets to get all the gauges I wanted, with the least outlay of $. Nobody makes a set, signature series, or otherwise that works for me. Then I found Stringjoy, and was able to select every string to create a set perfectly suited to my needs.
