These are strong strings! I took them on and off and loosened and tightened them a bunch of times while setting up my partscaster. I then went to a 3 hr rehearsal and not 1 strong broke. Great feel as well as great tone. 5 stars!

Absolutely amazing! I set these up on a Jazz bass and from the time I opened the package through the last round of playing I continue to be impressed. The construction details are obvious from the get-go with plenty of attention to detail, I appreciate not having the silks on the half wounds, and the eye wrappings are seriously solid. As for playing definitely a round wound feel but they play with a light touch. Finger style or pick attack tons of punch and clear tone! Being one who suffers from the dreaded black fingertips with dome brands of strings, these did not even following Florida summer three hour practise sessions.
