If I had opened this mirror as soon as I received it, I would have requested a refund and promptly sent it back. Unfortunately, I waited until we finished our house projects and instead, will be boxing this up this overpriced piece and taking it to the Salvation Army. Very cheap looking. It looks somewhat "vintage" in the picture, almost like a painted metal, but it's resin which I detest. I've seen 3-piece patio furniture sets at Wal-Mart made of this same material that's cheaper than this mirror. To make matters worse, the aqua is so bright and contrasts sharply against the black in a way that makes it hard to look at. Heading out to an antique store to look for real vintage at a much more reasonable cost. One star for being disappointed is an understatement. Shipping was fast and the mirror was well packaged, but that's it.

So I've had these items for a day and the paint is already coming off. It says in the description that it's finished with a protective coating which I think must have been forgotten. There was a little bead of water on one (they're meant for the bathroom so they should be able to withstand a little sprinkling of water) which I wiped away and it immediately took the paint off. Now in the description it says that you should be able to wipe the jars with a damp cloth! I don't think there'd be any paint left if I were to do this. The jars look amazing, I absolutely love how they look but unfortunately they have not been made to last in a bathroom.
