Montecito Part Mono Ext Lace Front Wig Belle Tress City Collection
I am new to wigs due to alopecia, I have been struggling to find one that doesn’t feel like a helmet on me, montecito is perfect not too much hair and a good length as it doesn’t rub on your clothes too much, the stock photo doesn’t do it justice, got it in raw sugar blonde which is a lovely shade. Really happy with the service from valentine wigs, will definitely purchase from them again.

The fibres, colour, style and density are lovely on this wig, however if the hair parts at the back or sides due to being in a strong breeze it exposes golf ball size patches of bald scalp with a clearly visible grid of sparsely knotted fibres! This wig might be fine if it's going over bio hair but does not work with having total hair loss, unless only wearing indoors.

My Samy is in the colour 60. This is a light colour, edging towards white. The cap fits me well - I have a petite sized head and without a wig cap, with the bra strap adjusters slightly moved, a perfect comfortable wig. Glasses also will fit comfortably with Samy. The style is flattering, slight permatease to give a lift on the top and is shaped to hug the face. Didn't need to have a snip at the fringe either. I'm wearing it now and it's so comfortable. Since my wig wearing began earlier this year, I've bought all my wigs from Valentine Wigs. I believe they provide the best service, price and efficiency. Will not go anywhere else.

Girl Mono is a favourite with several US reviewers and as Onda is difficult to get at present I bought Mono . Everyone says they all come out with a different curl pattern , but mine was soft and gentle . Settling above the shoulders . Easy to tuck behind my ears and offering opportunity to pin up and off the face . Although the colour hinted at being red , it was a lovely rich brunette . It needed nothing out of the box other than a quick shake . She is still in the box while I am wearing my older wigs . Got a turkey to cook , don’t want to frizzle her .

Recently bought the Sky wig in Metallic Rose - it’s absolutely gorgeous, doesn’t have to be as full as the pictures show, though you can have that way if you prefer - I have it slightly less full and it’s a beautiful kind of pixie cut but fluffy, I’d never have dared to have a cut like that but now I can have it whenever I like! Beautiful, and a lovely soft colour with pretty flecks of rose -and it’s styleable too. Very pleased!

What I love - it’s lightweight/milkshake blonde rooted is a good colour for me (although as with all wigs there are variations and I’ve found some are not as highlighted as others)/length is good for this time of year as the fibres don’t get so much of a bashing when wearing big coats and scarves/love it’s messiness/ I get lots of compliments when wearing it/it’s low density but with product you can get it to look ‘bigger’/ the lace front/the fit Not so keen on the appearance of scrap - it’s not very lifelike and the parting area is small

Following a you tube review I thought this was a wig I could wear on holiday without worrying . Every review I watched it seemed different . I thought the colour would be fun but it looked ridiculous . I could not make it work for me and worst of all , it looked like I was wearing a wig ! So I sold it at a loss , but lessoned learned .
If I buy a wig at a decent price , but I don’t like it , what I calculate is that the amount I spent was the equivalent of what I spent every 7-8 weeks maintaining my hair weave and my bio hair .

I bought the Upstage Mono wig in Iced Mocha, average size. Valentine Wigs are very competitive with their prices, helpful with excellent service. I wouldn't use any other company now I've found them.
The Upstage Mono by Racquel Welch is a light and comfortable hand-tied wig. The fit is snug, I have it on loosest setting for 21.5" head.
I haven't used heat on it to create my own waves but do find it tends to frizz from friction on clothing at the back of my neck, more than on non heat friendly synthetic wigs.
It's a flattering style with a sweeping fringe and flicks at the back. I've had lots of compliments and the colour is rich. The fringe does tend to flop over my eye, which I have to flick back frequently. It also sheds a fair bit when combing but it is a full style, so fairly thick.
