I like all he experience, but i think its important the project is a focus for the experience. Sometimes i feel is a tourism and not volunteering.

I think its important share all the projects before the experience for the people know what the possibilities.

I would definitely recommend doing the program through Volunteering Solutions. Great customer service from their team. Sahil was very helpful throughout the process. My India trip booking was cancelled due to Covid pandemic. The communication and advice were all excellent and the team was helpful in the travel credit process. I am already planning to use the credit towards a trip to Sri Lanka soon.

Hello! My name is Elisabeth Point Du Jour. My time in Arusha, Tanzania has been an experience that I did not deserve. If I were to describe my experience in one word, I can say that "amazing" is an understatement. From the first day, I fell in love with the culture and environment in Arusha. I was warmly welcomed by the Matolo family, Mr. Charles, Abraham and felt at home. I was treated as a member of their family. Originally, I was supposed to volunteer in the summer, however, due to the pandemic, I rescheduled for the holidays instead. That was the best decision I've ever made. The atmosphere during the holidays is very lively, warm, and welcoming. I connected with every individual that I've met--from the house staff to my coworkers, and fellow volunteers at St.Elizabeth Catholic Hospital. At the hospital, I volunteered in the surgical ward and there is no word that suffices to demonstrate my experience. I have observed a copious amount of procedures, but my most favorite was a pediatric, orthopedic broken wrist repair. I have made so many connections with the nurses, physicians, and surgeons at the hospital. The staff there are extremely kind and loving. It's beautiful to see every worker working together as a team--which ultimately is the essence of what medicine is. Lastly, though I only stayed in Arusha, I can tell from the snippet of what I've seen, that Tanzania is a beautiful country. The weekends were one of my most favorite parts of my time in Tanzania. I visited the Tarangire National Park, Kikuletwa Hot Springs, the Maasai Village, and many more. I am more than thankful to the Volunteering Solutions team. Mr. Sahil has been more than helpful in assisting me to prepare for my trip to Tanzania. Thank you so much Volunteering Solutions for making this goal of mine an accomplished reality and acquired blessing. God bless!

By far the greatest experience of my life, and I couldn't have hoped for a better host. The elephant work is not easy but so rewarding. If you are on the fence on joining the project please do not hesitate. Rosie is a lovely woman and made me feel at home in this beautiful country. Will definitely be coming back!

Very good! A bit expensive, but it is an easy and safer way to plan a trip! South Africa was incredible and we had all set when we got there thanks to VolSol!

You stay at a beautiful place next to the beach. School is a 5 min walk and you teach from monday to thursday, you can see how everyone cares a lot about the kids. I espacially loved how they encouraged creativity, this is something i did in my own class as well. I gave english to two classes by my self (i did have an assistent teacher who could translate), at first i wasnt sure if i could to it but you get the hang of it really fast and the kids are so much fun. In the weekend you have time to explore Bali with soms other volunteers, in this is way you can also make some really good friends. I would defenitly recommondation this programm.

I had a very satisfying and great experience at Cambodia. had an opportunity to meet different volunteers from different regions and it was a very good learning experience.
I would love to do this again .
Would have loved and felt more fulfilling if i could use my skill as an ophthalmologist .

The program was great in Peru. It’s my second one with VolSol (Nepal previously), and both times I had a great time and it was totally safe. The host family was very kind and always gave good tips and conversation. Kely, the Cusco local coordinator, was absolutely awwsome! She’s super helpful and friendly, and I will miss her a lot. She made me feel welcome and showed us what true Peruvian food is like, like causa and chicha morada. And it was cool to go to Machu Picchu on the weekend. Peru has so much culture. I hooe to return one day.

The experience was good, but the work at the clinic was really limited. Since our first day we were told that we couldn’t touch the patient, so we basically spent a moth just observing. I spent 2h waiting for someone to come and pick me up at the airport even though I had updated my flight information.
I had a especific problem because me nd my friend payed for 4 weeks, but we were told that our hostel booking would end before the 4 weeks have ended.

The projects were so much fun. I really enjoyed my time in Sri Lanka. However the transportation communication is lacking. The strict time zone is hard to accommodate and leads to frustration. The transportation guidelines should be posted before the trip/tickets are paid for and has every step of transportation stated clearly in the Pre-departure booklet.

My Morocco volunteer experience was absolutely once in a lifetime opportunity! I made a difference, traveled all of Morocco, and met amazing people over the course of 45 days. Everyone, especially the Operations Head in Rabat, was extremely helpful and made sure our experience was impactful and memorable. I definitely recommend Volunteer Solutions to anyone who is looking for a volunteering opportunity in Rabat, Morocco.

My time in kenya was amazing, I really loved spending time with the children at Makimei children's home and the weekends tours were great too!
