The box took a long while to set up as I am not a digital native or very geeky! I was on the point of returning the box in exasperation but with the help of 'Igor' on the Chat and a phone call from another colleague it is operating very well. I was expecting to get the Droidbox Wizard installed but as it is no longer available it was suggested that I use Wookie which seems to do all the thiks I want. You just have to learn how to install add-ons and accept sometimes that certain links may not work.

Its pretty good, but you cannot turn off the box with it and the battery hasn't lasted as long as I would have thought; but it is plug and play (more or less) and generally has a fair feel of quality considering the price.

Brought a T8-s back in July and have waited till now to leave the review. Ok so I needed customer service within the first few days and that was down to me. They were excellent, fast response on the forum over the weekend and then from the tech support on Monday. The box itself is of excellent quality and well built. I've had a couple of OTA updates come through and both have installed with no problems. The box runs very smooth and I've found nothing that it won't do or can't cope with from heavy game play to streaming hd sources. The option to use openelec is a huge bonus and kodi links to all my media sources with no problems and ix fast and responsive. I have since recommend this box to several friends and family who have all followed suit and purchased. So yes I highly recommend this box and droidbox . Keep up the good work

Purchased a T8-s back in July. So why am I writing a review in November.. Well first off I had a problem with my box and looking back I have to say the the customer service I got was excellent, not only over the weekend on the forums but on the Monday by the tech support. I have now been using the box for a few months and think that is long enough to know that it is a top bit of kit. Any problems I've had have normally been down to me and not a fault of the item or droidbox. It is fast and very smooth and has been able to cope with everything I have thrown at it from hi Def streaming to completely resetting the whole layout and look turning it into a mirror image of tabs in the house so even my daughter can use it. During this time droidbox have pushed a couple of OTA updates which have installed without issue and have only proved the continued excellent customer service and support offered by them. It is for this reason I have recommended them to friends and family members who have also enjoyed the versatility of these boxes and ease of use. Well done boys keep up the good work

I had a problem with my T8s freezing and the support and help I have received has been excellent.
Customer service never seems to be very high on a lot of the bigger companies tick list but DroidBOX have been awesome.

I purchased a Droidbox imx6 about 10 months ago as a relative streaming amateur in my 50's.
