Anbernic RG351P Retro Gaming Handheld
Love it, feels good in the hand and easy to use. Worth buying a better quality memory card and flashing it with ArkOS, but fine out of the box.

Great little device, the metal case gives it a nice weight and quality feel. Games look really sharp on the screen. Customer service were quick to respond to some queries I had too.

DroiX R1 Gaming Controller for RetroPie
First one lost in mail. Second shipped 6 weeks later. Took a little more then a week to get it.Waited over 7 weeks.
Was recognized by my raspberry first try. Easy Emulation Station simple straight forward set up.
Had to reposition my raspberry to a higher location now have excellent distance.
Good quality not cheap plastic. Worth the wait

No words, just perfect for me. Still trying to overload it. Spent the last two days failing miserably. Apps open in milleseconds. Very impressive.
I multitask so this is way ober anythin I could ever need. I don't run games so this is a review on home/office functionality. This is a tiny titan.
5 star setup.

Sometimes ended up pointing in some strange directions, but a quick shake and it seemed to reset it. Not bad really, still prefer a keyboard

Great but of kit for console game emulation but it struggles with a lot of manme games

Unfortunately performance varies between games and emulators. You may wish to try tinkering around with Mame4All (or XMame, depending on what you're already using) to see if they run the games better. Thank you for the review all the same!

Fantastic bit of kit! Bought this to use with Dolphin as a kind of bespoke Wii remote... And it works a treat. Love it!

Great piece of kit and a vast improvement on the Win 2 which was already impressive. Bigger screen makes this a genuine laptop replacement when in a pinch.

MOQI i7 Android Gaming Handheld Smartphone
At first I was a little underwhelmed but after some play time with it, I think it's worthy of the rating. Upsides: Buttons are nice and clicky. Beautiful screen. Built in Controller to Screen Mapping software. Fairy powerful. Can run emulators up to the PSP and even Dreamcast comfortably. Some N64 games with tweaks. Dolphin emu is playable but framerates are low. Second most powerful Android based retro console.
Downsides: D-pad is a little mushy. Triggers are a little bit wobbly. Buttons need some pressure before they are registered as pressed so very rapid presses are not registered. Screen to controller mapping software is a little bit unintuitive because the instructions look machine translated to English. If you are familiar with many retro type all in one console emulators, this is usually the norm. I didn't use the phone functions so I have no opinions but word around the net is they are middling at best. Not a bad little console as long as you are willing to deal with a little bit effort. Might be a bit too pricey for some.

Thank you kindly for the in-depth review, Michael! The MOQI i7s might be a better alternative if you're looking for a similar device with more horsepower, as a note!
