Great box. Easy to use.

Works very well, no problems with it at all.

This is a seriously cool piece of equipment, straight out of the box, no messing about for me. Works perfectly with some really great games.

Very nice very easy to use

The product works great...very pleased....HOWEVER...the remote sucks...it is very unresponsive...You click on the up and down arrows and nothing happens or is very, very slow....it takes forever to type in your codes, etc. Does Droix stand behind their products and could they send me a new remote since I feel that this remote is defective.

Overall it’s ok but the annoying thing is that certain apps or software I try to download seemed to be blocked by the inbuilt browser and there soesnt seem to be any way of unblocking it ( allow unknown sources ) if there is a way of doing this I would give it five stars.

This review relates to the highest spec version of the GPD Pocket 2. Droidbox sent out the machine with the newer m3-8100Y processor which was pleasing as it can turbo to a higher speed than the m3-7Y30.

Overall it is a surprisingly powerful yet physically small machine which does enable you to take your files stored in Windows with you anywhere.

In most areas the GPD Pocket 2 is an improvement over version 1. However, I should mention the change in keyboard design and track mouse which are disorienting at first. The spacebar, tab and full stop keys particularly require some re-learning of muscle memory but I like the larger Fn key. Incidentally, letting the battery partly discharge after the early updates are complete will allow the capacity meter to adjust correctly. There is also a new BIOS file on the official GPD website.

The screen is clearer than before (and feels a colder colour spectrum). The processor whizzes and can give a 7th Gen i3-7020U a run for its money despite max power usage being a third of the consumption of the i3. The storage and expansion capabilities are all upgrades and the wifi has improved over version 1. Modest games run well and the control over the fan is a boon when usage doesn`t require all the Pocket`s processing power.

It doesn`t come with Windows 10 Pro but if security is a concern users can store confidential or business files on an encrypted micro-sd card by encrypting the card using another machine running Win10 Pro. Since the Pocket 2 also lacks a camera, users might like the phone link facility recently added to Windows 10.

Haven't used it as its a Christmas present.

Very impressed,box is very good quality,but what really impressed was their service ,had a slight problem with the box contacted them returned it Friday morning back Tuesday morning,you wouldn’t get that from most other places,well done guys.

So far so good. H96 x2 is quick and does everyrhing i need, not impressed with vip airmouse i bought though. I would recomend an earlier version airmouse. Droid box service was ok although i still havent had a email ir recipt of purchase

Very good for the price.Great number of games included, bringing back many memories. Looking forward to upgrading the stock firmware, which will make it even better.

Great tiny machine, surprisingly powerful, good screen, usable keyboard (though small, obviously.)
I'm running a full-blown Ubuntu on it, and it handles everything I've thrown at it with ease. Now I always have the full power of Ubuntu in my pocket!

I would highly recommend this Android box as so far I have found it excellent towards other Android boxes I've used
